Hi,
I am Geiser Pereira
Trivelato, from Jacutinga, small town settled at south
of Minas Gerais state, Brazil.
Each person has
its own preferences and gets amused doing what it likes most.
To me, brazilian wildlife brought peace and the joy of new
discoverys.
Since 1999 I dedicated
all the time I can to photograph the most different species
my dear Brazil showed me. For this purpose, I use the following
photographic equipment:
Canon
EOS Rebel G Camera, with teleobjectives zoom
Vivitar Auto Focus 100-400 mm. F:4.5 - 6.7, in some occasions
helped by teleconverter 2x Vivitar and objective zoom Canon
Auto Focus 28-80 mm. F: 3.5 - 5.6
Canon T50 Camera, with teleobjective zoom
Vivitar Manual Focus 600-1000 mm. F:9.9 - 16
At present I have
an archive of up to 2500 pictures of species photographed
in zoos and natural life, some published in the most important
brazilian bird journal, Atualidades Ornitológicas
(www.ao.com.br) and Terra da Gente magazine,
April-2005 edition.
The areas where
I use to photograph more frequently are forests, fields and
scrubland of my own county, but I have a special attention
to Pantanal of Mato Grosso where I've been already 3 times:
in 1999, 2003 and 2004. I can assure that few places in
the world are so favourable and gratifying for wildlife photography
as Pantanal.
In Transpantaneira
nature shows up in all its splendour. It is possible to see
and hear dozens of different species in a single day. Lots
of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians performing a show
to our eyes every moment at this wonderful place. So, I´ve
chosen transpantaneira.com
pages, made by my friend André Zan, to show some of
my pics of Pantanal, specially the ones done along Transpantaneira
Road.
